EV Services
in Diamond Bar
EV diagnostics and ADAS for every customer type
EV services in Diamond Bar cover high-voltage diagnostics, BMS programming, charging-system scans, and ADAS calibration for electric vehicles. Mobile for drivers, dealerships, fleets, and shops; Pomona and the Inland Empire are covered.
What Are EV Services?
Electric vehicles are significantly more complex than traditional combustion-engine vehicles from a diagnostic and programming standpoint. They incorporate high-voltage battery management systems, electric drive units, thermal management systems, DC fast charging controllers, and, on virtually every modern EV, comprehensive ADAS sensor arrays that require calibration after repairs or component changes.
EV services cover the full range of diagnostic, programming, and calibration work specific to electric vehicle platforms. This includes reading and interpreting HV battery system fault codes, BMS module programming after battery replacement, charging system diagnostics, electric drivetrain diagnostics, and EV-specific ADAS calibration following collision repairs or sensor replacement.
We support modern EV platforms with OEM-level diagnostic tools and current software subscriptions. Whether your shop needs EV pre/post repair scanning, module programming, or ADAS calibration on an electric vehicle, Fuzetech provides mobile EV services on-site at your facility throughout Southern California.

When Are EV Services Needed?
Electric vehicles require specialized services whenever battery systems, drivetrain components, charging systems, or ADAS sensors are involved in a repair or malfunction.
Battery System Faults
Warning lights related to the high-voltage battery system, state-of-charge anomalies, range reduction, or BMS fault codes require EV-specific diagnostic equipment to properly identify and address the root cause.
Module Replacement
Replacement of BMS modules, VCUs, charge controllers, or other EV-specific control units requires OEM programming before the vehicle will function correctly. Generic programming is not sufficient for EV module replacements.
ADAS Repairs
After any ADAS repair on an electric vehicle, camera replacement, radar sensor replacement, or windshield replacement, OEM calibration is required just as it is on combustion-engine vehicles.
Collision Repairs
Collision repairs on EVs require specialized pre and post scans that cover EV-specific modules in addition to standard vehicle systems. ADAS calibration and HV system verification are typically required after collision repairs.
Charging System Issues
Failure to charge, slow charging, DC fast charge faults, or charging warning lights require EV-specific diagnostics to identify faults in the on-board charger, charge controller, inlet, or BMS charging logic.
What Makes EV Diagnostics Different?
Select a system to see why electric vehicles need more than a standard OBD-II scan, high-voltage battery, BMS, charging, drivetrain, thermal, regen, and EV ADAS.
High-Voltage Battery
Standard OBD-II scan tools provide very limited access to EV-specific systems. High-voltage battery diagnostics require professional-grade tools that can read BMS fault codes, cell voltage and balance data, and state-of-health information. Warning lights, state-of-charge anomalies, and range reduction need this depth of access to identify the root cause, generic scan tools cannot communicate with the HV pack the way OEM-level EV equipment can.
BMS Programming
The battery management system monitors cell voltages, state-of-charge, thermal management, charge/discharge rates, and safety limits for the high-voltage pack. After BMS replacement, software updates, or battery service, the module must be programmed with the correct software version and configured to the specific pack and vehicle. Generic programming is not sufficient, EV module replacements require OEM procedures before the vehicle will function correctly.
Charging Systems
Failure to charge, slow charging, or DC fast charge faults sit outside standard engine diagnostics. EV tools reach the on-board charger (OBC), charge controller, inlet, and BMS charging logic for both AC and DC systems, including CCS, CHAdeMO, and proprietary DC fast charging. Faults in the DC charge inlet, charge management controller, or high-voltage routing will not show up on a generic OBD-II scan.
Electric Drivetrain
There is no combustion-engine equivalent for motor controller, inverter, and electric drive unit diagnostics. Accessing those modules requires tools equipped for proprietary EV network protocols beyond standard OBD-II. We scan drivetrain CAN communication and analyze electric motor systems for front, rear, and dual-motor configurations, the same depth of system access that authorized EV service centers use.
Thermal Management
EV thermal systems manage both battery temperature and cabin climate through dedicated coolant loops and thermal control modules. Battery and cabin thermal management diagnostics include coolant loop fault analysis, thermal control module scanning, and verification of battery temperature regulation, work that does not exist on a conventional powertrain scan and cannot be completed with a generic tool.
Regenerative Braking
Regenerative braking blends electric motor deceleration with hydraulic brakes through regen calibration, brake blend controllers, and ABS/stability control communication. Faults in that blend are unique to EV platforms. Diagnosis verifies regen function and associated module communication so braking behavior matches OEM specifications after repair or programming.
EV ADAS Arrays
Modern EVs are among the most ADAS-equipped vehicles on the road, and in many cases have even more extensive sensor arrays than combustion-engine vehicles. After windshield replacement, collision repairs, camera or radar replacement, or suspension repairs, OEM ADAS calibration is still required. EV ADAS work uses the same professional equipment and OEM procedures as other platforms, with the added requirement that HV system verification is typically part of the collision repair.
Vehicle Makes We Service
EV diagnostics, programming, and ADAS calibration support for Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, and major domestic, European, and Asian EV platforms.
Service Process
Every EV service follows a structured process, from on-site diagnosis through programming or calibration and full system verification.
Arrive On-Site
Mobile technician arrives at your collision center, repair shop, or dealership with EV-capable diagnostic and programming equipment, no vehicle transport required.
Full EV System Scan
Complete all-system scan covering EV-specific modules, BMS, charge controller, VCU, thermal, drivetrain, and ADAS, plus standard vehicle systems.
HV Battery & BMS Analysis
High-voltage battery fault codes, cell voltage and balance data, and BMS status are reviewed to identify the repair or programming path.
Programming or Calibration
BMS, VCU, charge control, and thermal modules are programmed as needed. EV ADAS calibration is performed after collision, windshield, or sensor work.
Charging & Drivetrain Check
On-board charger, DC fast charge, motor controller, and inverter communication are verified so charging and drive systems function after the repair.
Post-Service Scan
A complete post-service scan documents remaining DTCs, confirms EV modules are communicating, and provides documented verification before delivery.
